Create a internal or external stock transfer

You can create an internal or external transfer for goods moving location.

Within advanced stock, stock can be transferred between locations. These locations can be internal which are stores at the same site or externally to stores at other sites.

πŸ“Œ Note: The steps below are applicable if the user has the role permission and a general setting on each outlet to allow transfers is activated.

Internal transfer

An internal transfer is a record of stock that has moved or moving between locations within the site only. Example: from the Bar to the Kitchen.

  1. Click Admin Cogs Cogs.jpg icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Advanced Stock Control, then click Outlets and Stores

  3. Locate the outlet and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon to access.

  4. Click the Products tab.

  5. Using the products shown on screen enter the decimal value into the boxes provided.

  6. At the top, click Internal Transfer, then select and set:

    • Destination.

    • Transfer Date.

    • Reference.

  7. Click Confirm to create the transfer.


External Transfer

An external transfer is a record of stock that has moved or moving between different sites. Example: from Hotel A to Hotel B.

  1. Click Admin Cogs Cogs.jpg icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Advanced Stock Control, then click Outlets and Stores

  3. Locate the outlet and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon to access.

  4. Click the Products tab.

  5. Using the products shown on screen enter the decimal value into the boxes provided.

  6. At the top, click External Transfer, then select and set:

    • Destination.

    • Transfer Date.

    • Reference.

  7. Click Confirm to create the transfer.
