Can't edit dishes

If your users can't edit dishes, ensure their role has the correct permissions.

If a user can't edit dishes, this is because their role has not been attached to the menu or sub-menus.

Attach a role to a menu or sub-menu

  1. Click Admin Cogs icon, then click Menus, Dishes & Recipes.

  2. Select Manage Menus.

  3. Click on the edit icon, this is a yellow pencil on a blue notepad.

  4. Click the Users/Roles tab.

  5. Select a Unit from dropdown.

  6. Select the user from the dropdown.

  7. Click Attach to Menu.


Attach a user to a menu

  1. Click Admin Cogs icon, then click Menus, Dishes & Recipes.

  2. Click Manage Menus.

  3. Select the Sub Menu Icon, this is a folder with a green arrow.

  4. Click on the edit icon, this is a yellow pencil on a blue notepad.

  5. Click the Users/Roles tab.

  6. Select a Unit from the dropdown.

  7. Select the user from the dropdown.

  8. Click Attach to Menu.
