Add related stock product to recipe or dish

If you need to assign a PID to a dish or recipe for the purpose of adding or transferring this product to the stock take, you can do this within couple of simple steps.

An optional purchaser product can be assigned to the recipe, this product can then be used for stock control and will be priced based on the cost price of the assigned recipe for the site.

Assign PID to a recipe

  1. At the top of the page, click the Admin Cogs Cogs.jpg icon.

  2. Click Menus, Dishes and Recipes.

  3. Click Manage Batch Recipes, Locate the recipe and click the EditEdit icon.jpgicon.

  4. Stay on the details tab and locate the the related stock product section.

  5. Select the categories from the list provided and click Create and Link Product.

  6. The product ID field will now be populated with a unique PID ready to be added to your stock module.


Assign PID to a dish

  1. At the top of the page, click the Admin Cogs Cogs.jpg icon.

  2. Click Menus, Dishes and Recipes.

  3. Click Manage Dishes, Locate the recipe and click the EditEdit icon.jpgicon.

  4. Stay on the details tab and locate the the related stock product section.

  5. Select the categories from the list provided and click Create and Link Product.

  6. The product ID field will now be populated with a unique PID ready to be added to your stock module.
