Purchaser categories are used in conjunction with your Ad hoc and self managed suppliers and assigning dishes and recipes to PIDs. These categories are built and maintained in the following location:

Categories must always have 3 levels.
After building a new category the mini markets categories will need to manually refreshed before it becomes visible to use in MP scan and Ad hoc ordering.
Example:
Top Level = Food
2nd level = Meat and Poultry
3rd level = Beef
Click the Admin Cogs
icon along the top bar.Click Products and Categories, then click Purchaser Categories.
The table displays the existing top-level categories, use the brown folder icon to navigate to the 2nd or 3rd level categories. Once the correct level has been accessed click Add Category.
Enter the category title and click Create.
