What are overstated allergens?
When suppliers update the allergen data contained within the product’s they provide you, due to a change in production or supply chain. The allergens contained within the product may have changed. If an allergen has been removed for example Gluten YES to Gluten NO then the allergen will become overstated, as all new allergen data needs accepting, allergens being removed also need your approval.
Viewing and removing the overstated allergens
To review and remove these allergens from the products, dishes and recipes please follow the below steps:
Click the Admin Cogs along the top bar.
Click Allergens, then click Supplier Allergen Report.
Click the Number highlighted in red in the paragraph at the top of the page example:
View an overview of the number of product allergens for each supplier. 1 allergens not found in any current supplier's allergen data exist within local allergens.
Using the check boxes on the right select or deselect the products to update.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the button Remove Allergens.
