Deliver in an order, credit or return into advanced stock

You can manually deliver in or exclude orders, credits and returns in your advanced stock outlet.

πŸ“Œ Note: You can resolve the warning message Orders not delivered which prevents you from locking your stock take, by following this guide.

Orders, credits and returns can be manually delivered in or excluded from the stock take via the outlet. You will need to do this for any order where the delivery tab was confirmed between the previous stock take being locked and the current stock take being opened.

πŸ“Œ Note:

  • Returns (RN) need to be delivered in.

  • Credits (CR) should always be binned unless identified as a return, please refer to article How to Bin credits in advanced stock for more information.

  • Credits in the status Pending Finalisation will also block a stock take from locking, and will not be displayed in the deliver in tab of the outlet, to action you must navigate to this credit status and submit or cancel these credits.

  • If orders do not appear in the deliver in tab and the outlet is new please check the activation date in the outlets details tab matches the start date of the first stock take.

  • If the deliver in tab is missing from the outlet, navigate to the outlets details tab and update the type from store to outlet as only outlets can receive deliveries.

Steps to deliver in

  1. Click the Admin Cogs Cogs.jpg icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Advanced Stock, then click Outlets and Stores.

  3. Locate the outlet and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon, then click the Deliver In tab.

  4. Check and update the start date so it matches the opening date of your current stock take.

  5. Use the filter box to locate order, credit or return and click one of the following buttons:

    • Deliver in all orders, this will deliver in all orders displayed on screen (not including any credits or returns)

    • Deliver in order, available per order, credit or return.

    • Red cross, will exclude and bin the order, credit, or return from the outlet and stock take, this can be reversed in the order or credits details tab.

    • Bin all credits, this will exclude and bin all credits shown on screen.
