Enter the closing stock values into stock controls

If you need to enter the closing values for your stock take in the stock controls modules, you can do this within a few simple steps.

The stock takes closing values can be entered on screen or via the import file, both of which are details below.

πŸ“Œ Notes:

  • If imputing the closing count on screen you must save the page every 30 minutes as Procure Wizard has an auto log out feature, any data not saved will be lost and cannot be retrieved.

  • It's advisable to use the import file so a hard copy of the stock count is available.

  • Only 1 user should update the stock take at any one time, as multiple users saving or importing closing counts at the same time will override the existing data.

Input closing count on screen

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Stock Controls, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit button.

  4. Click the Stock tab.

  5. Enter the stock values into the column titled close.

    • Zero close stock leave blank (a blank cell will be classed as 0).

    • Full cases enter as whole numbers 1 ,2 etc.

    • Single non split items , Items that do not have a possible split option displayed (under the unit size in brackets) should be entered as a decimal, single value products enter as 1.5 for example.

    • Splits, enter the number of splits as + then the number, the possible number of splits for an item as shown under the pack size (in brackets) i.e. + and the number of splits

  6. Click the button Save Changes to confirm the closing stock position, please ensure you save this page at least every 30mins to ensure no data is lost.


Input closing count on export file

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Stock Controls, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit button.

  4. Click the Import Export tab, then click the Export button.

  5. Open the file and enter the closing values in column P.

    • Zero close stock leave blank (a blank cell will be classed as 0).

    • Full cases enter as whole numbers 1 ,2 etc.

    • Single non split items , Items that do not have a possible split option displayed (under the unit size in brackets) should be entered as a decimal, single value products enter as 1.5 for example.

    • Splits, enter the number of splits as + then the number, the possible number of splits for an item as shown under the pack size (in brackets) i.e. + and the number of splits

  6. Save the file on your device, and navigate back to the same page in Procure Wizard.

  7. Click the Select File button and locate and select the file form your device.

  8. Click the Import button to complete the process.
