Enter the close count in advanced stock

If you need to record and enter your stock count for advanced stock, you can do this within a few simple steps.

The closing count can be entered into the stock take either on screen or via a import export file. Depending on the setup of each product and the settings of the stock take each product can be counted in the full case (F) or split case (S). Both options are outlined below

  • Its advisable to use the import export option so a hard copy is always available.

  • If using the on screen option please ensure the page is saved on regular intervals to avoid data loss as Procure Wizard has a 1 hour time out rule for inactivity (this includes entering closing values).

  • If all products are only able to be entered in the full case option review the Counting Method setting at the bottom of the stock tab.

Export and import closing values

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Advanced Stock, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon the stock take.

  4. Click the Import Export tab.

  5. Click Export.

  6. Enter the closing values:

    • Depending on the configuration you may see a FC and SC columns to record the closing count, FC stands for Full Case and SC stands for Split Case.

    • Zero close stock leave blank.

    • Decimals can be used to record a partial full case product.

  7. Save the file on your device and from the same page above use the import settings to select the saved file, there are 2 actions options to choose from when importing the count:

    • Set quantities: this will override all values currently in the stock take including blank cells to 0.

    • Add quantities: this add to existing values and will not revert blank cells to 0.

  8. Click Import CSV.


Enter closing count on screen

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Advanced Stock, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon the stock take, and stay on the details tab.

  4. Enter the closing values:

    • Depending on the configuration you may see a FC and SC columns to record the closing count, FC stands for Full Case and SC stands for Split Case.

    • Zero close stock leave blank.

    • Decimals can be used to record a partial full case product.

  5. Click Save to record the changes.
