Update the closing date of stock takes

If you need to change the closing date of your stock take, you can do this within a few simple steps.

If you are looking to adjust the closing date of a stock take either in stock controls or advanced stock, please follow the steps below.

Stock Controls (basic)

πŸ“Œ Note:

  • The ability to change the closing date is only available to users connected to the head office red building. If the field is greyed out please contact your system administrator or local super user to assist.

  • It is advisable to export a copy of the current stock count to a back up, this can be done through the import export tab.

  1. Click the Admin Cogs Cogs.jpg icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Stock Controls, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon, and stay on the details tab.

  4. Adjust the closing date and click Update.

⚠️ Important: If the closing values have been entered you must follow the on screen instructions to save the closing values, if you don't they will be lost and are not retrievable.


Advanced Stock

πŸ“Œ Note:

  • If a message displays stating adjustments have been found before or after the date selected, this is indicating that transfers and or orders have been actioned and need be to removed from the outlet. Our guide on undoing deliveries will show the steps to remove them which will then allow you to change the date.

  1. Click the Admin Cogs Cogs.jpg icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Advanced Stock Controls, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon, and stay on the stock tab.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and update the end date and click Update.
