Lock a stock take

If you need to lock your stock take, you can do this within a few simple steps.

When a stock take has been counted and the closing values checked, the final step is to lock the stock, the steps below will guide you through to the required page to do so.

πŸ“Œ Note: You can not lock the stock take until the closing date and time has elapsed.

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Stock Taking, locate the stock take and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon.

  3. Remain on the details tab and click Lock Stock.


Advanced Stock

πŸ“Œ Note:

  • You can not lock the stock take until the closing date and time has elapsed.

  • You can not lock the stock take until all warnings marked with a yellow triangle have been cleared from the warnings tab.

  • Once a stock take has been locked it can not be reopened.

  • When locking a unit full stock take locking 1 related stock take has the action of locking all related stock takes.

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top, then Advanced Stock.

  2. Click Stock Taking, locate the stock take and click the Edit Edit icon.jpg icon.

  3. Click the Outlet or Unit Summary tab (depending on setup) and click Lock Stock.
