Within the stock module stock controls there are two consumption values each calculates the value differently, the below will explain the difference for you to choose which is more accurate for your business needs.
The stock control main screen figure uses the following formula:
Actual Net Opening Stock Value + Actual Net Purchase Value + Actual Other Expenditure - Actual Close Stock Value.
The summary tab figure uses the formula:
Total Stock Open Net + Total Stock In Net - Total Stock Return Net) - Total Stock Value Net.
When the Actual Net Purchase Value is calculated it will not include any custom products within the calculation.
