Use document creator

You can create an invoice or credit that does not have a parent order using document creator.

Why use document creator?

If your purchaser has placed an order with you outside of Procure Wizard, or they've requested that you raise an auto created order, you can do so using the document creator function.

πŸ“Œ Note: If you can't see document creator, use your Procure Wizard Digital Assistant to speak directly to a member of the team and request the function is added to your account.


Use document creator

To use document creator, to create an invoice or credit follow the steps below.

πŸ“Œ Note: Before you start, make sure you've created your internal invoice or credit. You also need to have created your products and have these listed on the customers price list with a price.

Invoice

  1. Click Document Creator, then click Create Invoice.

  2. Add a comment explaining why you've raised this order.

  3. Click Build Invoice, then select your purchaser and purchaser unit.

  4. Enter your invoice number and your invoice date in the format, 01/12/2001.

  5. Type the product description, PID, or SKU code,

    • you need to have at least 1 product added to the invoice/credit in order for it to process.

  6. Select the product and amend the QTY if required.

  7. If required, update the unit price.

  8. Click Create Invoice.

If products don't appear straight away, please clear your cache.

Credit note

  1. Click Document Creator, then click Create Credit.

  2. Add a comment explaining why you've raised this order.

  3. Click Build Credit, then select your purchaser and purchaser unit.

  4. Enter your credit number and your credit date in the format, 01/12/2001.

  5. Type the product description, PID, or SKU code,

    • you need to have at least 1 product added to the invoice/credit in order for it to process.

  6. Select the product and amend the QTY if required.

  7. If required, update the unit price.

  8. Click Create Credit Note.

If products don't appear straight away, please clear your cache.
