Can stock closing values be retrieved

If your closing stock counts have been lost due to inactivity, the below will advise on best practice within the stock modules.

If you entered counts in your stock take and these have been removed or lost, they cannot be currently recovered.

Reasons are listed below as to why the closing value may have been lost. To ensure the closing values are not lost and are retrievable best practice is to use the import export option to extract, record and save the closing count onto the stock sheet on your local device.

Stock controls

  • The closing date of the stock take has been amended and when prompted the closing values were not saved.

  • The stock tab was not saved every 15-20 minutes to ensure the count is retained. This is because Procure Wizard has an auto sign out option when no activity is logged within one hour, this cannot be amended or switched off.

  • Multiple users are importing the closing count overriding the current stock values.

Advanced stock

  • Multiple users are importing the closing count overriding the current stock values and are selecting "set" instead of "add" when importing the file.

  • The stock tab was not saved every 15-20 minutes to ensure the count is retained. This is because Procure Wizard has an auto sign out option when no activity is logged within one hour, this cannot be amended or switched off.
