To assist you with counting, the unit of measure - UOM - of products can be overridden within the advanced stock outlet.
📌 Notes:
The override only impacts the stock takes related to the outlet.
If your outlet is controlled by a master outlet the setting will need to be set within the master outlet.
Activate the outlet setting to allow overrides
Click the Admin Cogs along the top bar.
Click Advanced Stock, then click Outlets and Stores.
Locate the outlet and click Edit to access.
Stay on the details tab and locate the section titled stock taking settings.
Ensure the setting allow unit of measure overrides is activated by using the check box.
Click Update to save any changes.
Steps to update products
Click the Admin Cogs along the top bar.
Click Advanced Stock, then click Outlets and Stores.
Locate the outlet and click Edit to access.
Click the Products tab.
Locate the configure section and click UOM.
Locate the product and update and set the following:
Counting UOM.
Pack Display.
Click Save Settings.
