Order credit and return inclusion within a stock take

If you need to review when and what orders, credits and returns will be included within a stock take, you can do this within a few simple steps.

Order, credit and return inclusion within stock takes differ between stock controls and advanced stock, the below covers the module stock controls.

What orders, credits and returns will be included?

All orders, credits and returns will be automatically included within the stock take date.

When will they be included?

The orders, credits and returns will be included if their requested delivery date falls within the opening and closing date and time of the stock take.

How can they be limited?

The orders, credits and returns inclusion within the stock take are controlled by which mini markets are selected and if the stock take is being limited by departments.

Manage the mini markets

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Stock Controls, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit button, then the click the Mini Markets tab.

  4. Use the check boxes to activate or deactivate the mini markets. If the boxes display a no entry symbol this means the stock take is controlled by a purchaser group, this purchaser group can be viewed on the details tab of the same stock take, to learn more about how to manage purchaser groups please visit our guide on updating a mini market in a purchaser group.

  5. Click the Update button to save any changes.

Manage the departments

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Stock Controls, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit button.

  4. Stay on the details tab and locate the limit orders by department section.

  5. Use the check boxes to activate or deactivate the setting, once activated a list of available departments will appear allowing you to activate or deactivate each department.

  6. Click the Update button to save any changes.

View a list of included orders, credits and returns within the stock take

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Stock Controls, then click Stock Taking.

  3. Locate the stock take and click the Edit button, then click the Summary tab.

  4. Scroll down and a table will display all orders, credits and returns included within the stock take.
