Change the financial period of a stock take

If you need to update or change the financial period a stock take belongs to, you can do this within a few simple steps.

When a stock take in advanced stock is created the financial period will be automatically assigned, this can be updated to align with the correct financial period (FP). The following will also fix the issue of stock takes that appear missing when running a group report by financial period.

  1. Click the Admin Cogs icon along the top bar.

  2. Click Advanced Stock, then Stock Taking.

  3. Edit the stock take, and stay on the Stock tab.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the stock tab, update the Financial Period.

  5. Click the Update button to save the changes.
