Advanced shipping notifications

An advanced shipping notifications can be generated and sent via 2 methods.

Written by Aurelian Bodea

An advanced shipping notification also known as an ASN can be generated by the supplier which generally contains the following information: The purpose of the ASN is to confirm what items/products are being delivered by the supplier.

  • Confirmation the order has been placed.

  • Date of the expected delivery.

  • Contents of the delivery.

These alerts can be sent via 2 methods:

  • Supplier generates the ASN and sends this directly to the customer to a pre-agreed email address.

  • Supplier sends the ASN to Procure Wizard that then generates an alert and sends it onto the user that placed the order.
