An advanced shipping notification also known as an ASN can be generated by the supplier which generally contains the following information: The purpose of the ASN is to confirm what items/products are being delivered by the supplier.
Confirmation the order has been placed.
Date of the expected delivery.
Contents of the delivery.
These alerts can be sent via 2 methods:
Supplier generates the ASN and sends this directly to the customer to a pre-agreed email address.
Supplier sends the ASN to Procure Wizard that then generates an alert and sends it onto the user that placed the order.
πNote: If you would like to explore option 2 further you need to contact our EDI team to discuss this further, they can be contacted at [email protected]
