Flash Import Sales not matching my till provider sales

When the file is sent to us, it is converted before processing into Procure Wizard to make it readable. When the file processes, it reads the file line by line and imports on the flash reports, if the data import method on the flash report setup is set to overwrite any existing figures, this is why it looks as though sales are missing.

The options that we can give which would potentially fix the issue right now are as follows:

  1. Update the flash reports to show the data import method as combined as opposed to overwriting each other. This would work in the interim, however if for any reason the file needed to be re-imported, the original data would need to be deleted/removed before re-importing.

  2. Ask your till provider to make changes at their side to combine all the till location references into a single unit id and then import - the import file would need to be amended to accept this.

  3. If the sales in the file do not match the sales you were expecting such as unknown dish titles PLU or Epos codes, please contact your Till Provider directly to review.
