Missing cost prices generally happen when your supplier delists and removes the product from their price file, by doing so the stock take will lose the last known cost price for that product and will result in the warning to appear in the stock take.

Viewing the warnings tab and missing cost prices
Click the Admin Cogs
icon along the top bar.Click Advanced Stock Controls, then click Stock Taking.
Locate the stock take and click the Edit
icon to access, then click the Warnings tab. Review the cost price warnings and click the displayed number to review the affected products.
Take a note of the PIDs shown on the popup screen.
Clearing the missing cost price

If the product does not appear ensure it has not been binned or needs to be added to the selling and cost price outlet for guidance on this, please review our guide on adding product to outlets and managing product binned status.
Click the Admin Cogs
icon along the top bar Click Advanced Stock Controls, then click Selling and Cost Prices.
Click the Brown Box
icon to access the folder.Search for the product using the PID which is shown in the warnings tab pop up described in the steps above.
In the cost price field, enter the last known price of the product.
Click Update to save the changes.
